One such product display system that caught our attention was the dome shaped kiosk displaying the LG handset at Reliance Webworlds. What is unique about this is the lightning bolt effect that streaks across the double layered dome. The handset is ensconced within the kiosk on a revolving stand. When one touches the dome, the lightning streaks seem to come together at the point of contact. The electrically operated appliance has been manufactured by LG.
Another out-of-the-ordinary display rack was spotted at Revolutions, the exclusive outlet for Liberty Shoes at the InOrbit Mall, Malad, Mumbai. The horseshoe-shaped rack has shelves on the outer sides. The back panels as wells as the shelves are in transparent acrylic. This is attractive as, the horseshoe being big enough for the customer to pass under it, the transparency allows for the viewing of the products even from the back. In the store the racks are placed in a line, thus forming a sort of tunnel. From the entrance the shape of the rack is visible and attracts passersby. A creative use of a concept.
